Busanjin-gu officetel charter fraud, 30s, "I lent only the name" statement

A man in his 30s, who bought an officetel in the Busan area and put it up as collateral, took out a loan of billions of won and disappeared.

On the afternoon of the 31st, Detective 11 of the Busan District Court (Judge Jeong Soon-yeol) held the first trial of Mr. A (30s, male) accused of fraud.

According to the prosecution's indictment, Mr. A stole 6.247 billion won from 62 tenants of officetels in Busanjin-gu, Dongrae-gu, and Sasang-gu from November of last year to last April.

Appearing in court, Mr. A denied the allegations of conspiracy, 오피 saying, "I only lent my name at the request of Mr. B, a company official, to lend my name, but I do not know about the crime because I was not at the site of the charter contract."

On the other hand, the tenants who did not receive the jeonse deposit back raised the possibility of organized fraud by citing the connection with the realtor.

The tenant's lawyer emphasized, "This charter scam is all related to C Corporation. Four people involved in the corporation, including CEOs A and B, signed a number of here contracts while carrying Mr. A's power of attorney."
